Information from Mrs. StrattonMONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th will be a GOLD OUT to join together for Childhood Cancer Awareness! Each year in the U.S., an estimated 15,780 children are diagnosed with cancer, so we would like to show our support on this last day of the month. THANK YOU: We appreciate all your help and support with the PTO Fun Run fundraiser. The students learned about kindness, gratitude, honesty, generosity and humility They also had a blast during their fun run getting some exercise while raising money for the school. If you ever have any questions about the fundraisers and events that PTO schedules please join us at their monthly meetings. The next meeting will be Monday, October 7th at 4:30 p.m. in the elementary media center. Visit the PTO page to learn all about the many things they do for our students and staff and how decisions are made. Thanks! Learn more here in this sneak peak: https://boosterthon.com/blog/our-new-character-theme-ismindspark-wild-west/ VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS: This year PTO is looking for some volunteer coordinators for the many events at the elementary. A volunteer coordinator will schedule the volunteers for that event or activity. The volunteer sign up list will be shared, so you will simply need to contact any volunteers with the details for the event (time to be there, what is needed if applicable, what will be required for them to do). If you are unsure about what is required at an event you can contact the PTO to get all the details. If you are interested in coordinating any of the events below that we do not already have someone please contact PTO at [email protected] and let us know which event you would be willing to coordinate.
